Information for UB RISE Judges

Thank you for participating in UB RISE 2025 as a poster judge.

There are 5 categories of posters.

  1. Faculty Competitive – CONDUCTED OFF-LINE
  2. Doctoral
  3. Masters
  4. Undergraduate
  5. High School

You can find all the presentations on this site here.

You will be assigned posters based on your major and degree. Most judges will review 3-6 posters depending on the total poster submissions we have received.

Beginning March 28, you will receive an email link that contains a digital version of the rubric (see below for a screenshot). In the same link, you will see which posters you are assigned. You can find all the posters by their number, author name, title, and category in the link above.

NOTE: If you would like to see the Student Poster rubric – click on this link.

Please lookout for an email from ubrise@bridgeport.edu with the subject ‘Invitation to UB RISE poster judging‘.

From March 28th– 31st, you will be reviewing the posters (asynchronously) . You will use the rubric on your phone while looking at the posters and videos on your computer/laptop. We suggest opening the link using a phone to ensure that you have a better interactive experience. If you do not have access to a smartphone, please reach out to ubrise@bridgeport.edu for assistance.

All judging must be completed by 5:00 PM (EST) on Monday, March 31, 2025.

If you are selected to be a poster judge, we will have a 45-minute judging orientation via Zoom on Thursday, March 27 at 7:00 pm EST. You will receive a calendar invite with the Zoom link.

Here is a preview of the digital rubric (see Pictures A and B below).

In Picture A, simply, select a poster number (on the left column).

In Picture B, a new window will open the Poster Rating Rubric. Then, submit ratings on a scale of 0-5.

If you have any questions, please email ubrise@bridgeport.edu. Thank you again!
